When Will Hobbs was growing up he lived all over the place. Because he was an Air force family. When he was in Alaska he fell in love with the mountain, river etc. Then after he graduated from the University of Standford he did a lot of whitewater rafting by the San Juan. Lots of his readers ask him why did he start writing in the first place. Will saids thats an easy question to answer, because he loves reading. He was a former language art and reading teacher. Which to me was not a bib surprise, since he such a great writer!
Half of his stories ideas come from Wills personal experiences, and the other half comes from reading books! His biggest breakthrough was learning to write with the 5 senses. When he starts to right a book it takes a lot of faith. He hoped that his first novels told a great story. He really hope to be inspired and loved from the wild life. He writes outdoor stories that appeals to boys and girl!
